13 Reasons Why: Netflix Series Review

13 Reasons Why: Netflix Series Review

I will admit that I went into watching this series without reading Jay Asher’s book. Fortunately for me, my teen daughter read the book and we watched the series together. She was quick to point out some of the differences in the adaptation. My review is also tainted by the fact that I’m a mom to two teens and a tween. That fact alone colors my opinion of the series. I can’t help watching everything through Mama Bear eyes. It’s annoying at times, even I’ll admit that.

The Choice DVD Review

The Choice DVD Review

I’ve seen pretty much every Nicholas Sparks movie, going back to A Walk to Remember, but I’ve never read one of the books. Odd, I know! But for me these are stories I enjoy watching, not reading, mostly because you know the plot, you know how the story is going to go. So they are movies you can put on in the background while I work on PTB or whatever. Because of this, I didn’t have too much expectation for The Choice, and it totally blew me away!
