Real/Not Real – Peeta’s de-hijacking:

Jackson has devised a game called “Real or Not Real” to help Peeta. He mentions something he things happened, and they tell him if it’s true or imagined, usually followed by a brief explanation.

So after, when he whispers “You love me. Real or not real?”

I tell him, “Real.”

Real/Not Real is one of the most heart breaking “games” to come out of the series. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for Peeta to have to slowly figure out what is real and not real about your own life. I’m curious to see how they play this out in the movie. Will they show more of his treatment or will we just get the “game” as the story unfolds.

Peeta and Katniss’ Growing Relationship:

If you’ve been with the series from the start, the big question always was, Gale or Peeta. When you’re 17 years old, as Katniss is when the book start, you can see why she could possibly end up with either guy. But on the other side of this is you have a girl who has not really been allowed to be a child, she’s had to be the head of her house hold since she was 11 years old. And because of this, she doesn’t see herself has anything but a provider. She doesn’t see that she turns heads at school, she doesn’t realize how much of an influence she can have. So because of this, she’s totally blind to any feelings that Peeta or Gale have for her before entering the games and Peeta sharing his feelings on live TV. In Mockingjay we meet a slightly older Katniss who’s starting to realize that she could love either of these boys, but as things move forward she finds herself always going back to Peeta. I’m can’t wait to see how this all plays out on screen since it’s all in Katniss’ head in the book.

The End of the Rebellion:

AHHH this is so hard to talk about without spoiling too much. But we’ll leave it as the rebels and District 13 prevail. The events that lead to the Capitol’s downfall and what happens after this are pretty crazy! Again because the story is all in Katniss’ POV, we lose some of whats going on that she can’t be a part of. I’m REALLY hoping the movies continue with bringing in some of the Capitol story and show whats going on when Katniss isn’t there.

Life After The Rebellion:

Without spoiling too much, District 12 gets a rebirth and are beloved characters start over. I wonderhow they are going to show this. The book does have an epilogue, will this be done a la Harry Potter or will they do something different. I’m DYING to see the end!

Enjoy a few TV Spots while you wait to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 in theaters!
