Watch and Vote for your favorite #TwilightStories Short

The Twilight Stories Shorts based on the Twilight Official Illustrated Guide by Stephenie Meyer, are now up for you to watch! The 7 short films, all about 8-10 minutes long, are really well done and it’s great to see the quality that has come out of this project. And I LOVED how they they did the vampire “shimmer” in Sunrise. It looked beautiful and really showcased that defining aspect of Meyer’s vampires. My only real issue is the fact that there are three Alice movies, I wish the creators of the project would have put a measure in place to ensure diversity in the stories. But if that’s my only issue, I think that’s a job well done for Lionsgate and all those involved. Below you’ll fine screen caps from all seven shorts and their descriptions. To view them in their entirety and to vote head to – you can also watch them on the Twilight Facebook Page.

Below we’ve also included a Q&A video with Stephenie Meyer where she talks about the Twilight Stories process and what books she’s been reading.  And MTV did a fun article on 9 things we learned from the shorts, you can read it HERE.

JULY 29TH!!! (2015)

CONSUMED is the emotional story of Jane’s past. Like her brother Alec, Jane was always “special,” but in their quaint hamlet, their specialness inspires scorn and has terrible consequences until a mysterious stranger comes along and takes an unusual interest in them. Directed by Maja Fernqvist.

After her transformation, Esme’s struggle to overcome her craving for human blood is only intensified by the painful memories of her tragedy-ridden past. In MASQUE, Carlisle helps Esme find hope for the future…and maybe even a family. Directed by Cate Carson.

Terrified that his own special power has caused so much harm, Benjamin turns away from the world. SUNRISE details Benjamin’s return to his human roots, where he can no longer hide from the girl that stole his heart long ago. Directed by Amanda Tasse.

The Mary Alice Brandon File:

Set as a moody period drama with a pinch of Gothic mystery, THE MARY ALICE BRANDON FILE explores Alice’s resilient spirit as her dark past is revealed. Directed by Kailey and Samantha Spear

Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution, TURNCOATS explores the characters and events that forged Garrett and Carlisle’s enduring friendship. Directed by Lindsey Hancock Williamson.

We’ve Met Before:

In WE’VE MET BEFORE, Alice and Jasper meet for the first time…or so it would seem. As the conversation evolves, the history of their true and everlasting love is coyly revealed. Directed by Yulin Kuang.

The Groundskeeper:

In THE GROUNDSKEEPER, Alice and her fearless confidante grapple with the grave choices they are forced to make when a unique kind of hunter has Alice in his sights. Directed by Nicole Eckenroad.

Congrats to the cast, crew and script writers who brought these stories to life!! 800,000 – 1 million views in less than a week is totally crazy, but well deserved. I hope you all use this as a starting off point for your careers!!
