Title: Immortal Embrace
Author: Charlotte Blackwell
Publish Date: Published July 1st 2011 by World Castle Publishing Synopsis:

Sophia Pierce has suffered since her brother left, and is unsure if she will ever get over it. That is until her family decided to move to Wenham, Massachusetts. Her and her siblings have been ordered to protect their little sister, and must return to High school. This is where Sophia finds her soul mate Nathanial and life as she knows it is about to change. As a vampire, Sophia has always kept to herself, but as a high school student will she learn to step out of her comfort zone a little? Sophia has found a best friend in a powerful witch and a love to call her own. That is until something tragic happens and blood is spilled. Will Sophia be able to resist the sweet scent of her beloved’s blood? This is Sophia’s story, a story of a girl who finds herself, love and everlasting friendship. The excitement of this story wraps mortals, vampires, witches, and shape shifters all into a romantic tale of young love, friendship, the meaning of family. The story of a girl who tries to finds herself when she thought it was all lost.

Do you believe in Soul Mates? Some are lucky to find theirs; others will look for decades..

Sophia has a unique family. They are all vampires. Trying to integrate themselves and a new family member into society can be difficult with all the obstacles they have to face. However, the Pierce family is determined to stick together, confide in one another, and support each other’s decision to make it through eternity.

Sophia has a difficult time opening up to others. With Caspian gone, she feels utterly alone. Having to go to High school again in Wenham, MA, does not help either.

Immortal Embrace is a fantastic paranormal story with it all: Vampires, Witches and Shape shifters. Not only are the characters strong, you can feel the family unity as well. You can grasp the age of the older members of the family by their well manners and formal speaking. As the story progresses, you learn of the past of each family member, and their long time friendship of the witches of Wenham. However, as the Pierce family settles in Wenham, and they become comfortable with the locals, something else is brewing under their noses. A rebel coven is emerging and raising havoc. Little do they know, they have an ally where they least expect it. The Pierce family will soon be tested and I can not wait to see how this story unfolds!

This was a fun story to read and reminds me of one of my favorite series, Twilight.
