Title: Hunted
Author: Cheryl Rainfield
Publish Date: Expected publication: October 27th 2011 by WestSide Books
Synopsis:

Caitlyn, a telepath, lives in a world where all paranormal talents are illegal. She is on the run from government ParaTroopers. When Caitlyn falls for Alex, a Normal, and discovers dangerous renegade Paranormals, she must choose between staying in hiding to protect herself or taking a stand to save the world.

This paranormal story will keep you on high alert with all its twists and turns!

Caitlyn and her mom have been on the run ever since the death of her father and her brother being kidnapped. They never stay in one place long enough for Caitlyn to make any real friends. Therefore, when Caitlyn meets a girl by standing up for her, and has a run in with this cute boy named Alex, she is not sure if she wants to run anymore.

The government has convinced all the people that paranormals are evil. So every paranormal has to register, and some even are tortured to work for the government to hunt out other paranormals….the Paratroopers.

Caitlyn will soon learn how powerful she really is. It comes to a point where she has to do things that she does not believe in, but knows it is for the better good to bring knowledge to the regular humans that paranormals are people too. She finds an enemy where she least expects.

Telepath, telekinesis, healing powers….powers that some people believe is the evolution of humans. Hunted is full of surprises. I loved seeing Caitlyn starting to trust her friends, and give into her feelings that she has suppressed for so long. She finds amazing strength to convince the people that paranormals are also human, and to try and stop the prejudice towards them. This story has excitement in its story telling where the pace speeds wickedly. Truly an incredible paranormal read!
