Friday Five

Each Friday we will post a topic and then answer it with our top 5  choices. Depending on the week, one or all of us may be answering the  question. Friday Five is something we picked up from Eve’s Fan Garden who got the idea from Cheryl Renee Herbsman.

5 books we wished we were a part of!

Pixie: this was hard to narrow down

  • Harry Potter of course! Who wouldn’t want to go to Hogwarts?
  • Study/Glass Series – stormdancers – that would be amazing to watch.
  • House of Night Series – fighting along with Zoey and Stevie Rae
  • The Mortal Instruments – can I be Magnus’s apprentice?
  • The Host – Don’t know why, cave life sounds interesting- maybe it’s to help earth!

Sophie:

  • Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare – I could listen to Jem play violin, banter with Will and compare notes on books with Tessa.
  • The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa – I want a tour of the Winter Court…well yes, with Prince Ash as tour guide, of course.
  • HEX HALL by Rachel Hawkins – I want detention with Archer. In the cellar. My name IS really Sophie. It could work, guys, it COULD.
  • VAMPIRE CRUSH by A.M. Robinson – I’d get to solve mysteries alongside yes, another Sophie. Plus, I’m really good at spotting vamps. My vampdar is finely tuned. Trust me, it is…I think those new kids in town look suspicious.
  • Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins – Like I could leave this book off this list?!?! Paris, crepes and St. Clair???? Surely, no other words are needed

Stacey:

  • Iron Fey series
  • Pride & Prejudice
  • Caster Chronicles
  • The Drake Chronicles
  • Harry Potter

  1. 1. One of the dwarves in the Hobbit. Preferably one that survives.
    2. An elf in LOTR, though it is sad since it's the last moment in Middle Earth.
    3. The Mortal Engines series by Philip Reeves.
    4. A Melnibonean from the Young Kingdoms. Dragon riders par excellence.
    5. A member of Team Slytherin. I always knew Snape was a good guy!
